Mount Purro Nature Reserve is a beautiful sanctuary that lies within the Sierra Madre mountain range in Antipolo City. The eco-farm resort offers a vast place to relax, and do activities such as swimming, camping and trekking if you’re up for it. They also have their own restaurant, Loli’s Kitchen, where they serve Filipino home-style dishes.
This was a perfect haven for me to spend my birthday and reflect on life as I grew a year older. Going to the place is already a treat because you will be riding a trike and go over the long road that surrounds Sierra Madre. The serenity of Mount Purro allows you to be close to nature, which is something that most of us long for in the hustle & bustle of work in the city.
